The Houston Grand Opera announced their 2019-2020 season this past week, which features seven productions never before seen by Houston audiences:
- The world premiere of El Milagro del Recuerdo/The Miracle of Remembering;
- the HGO premiere of Saul;
- a reimagined The Magic Flute;
- new productions of Rigoletto and Aida;
- a rarely performed masterpiece, La favorite, and;
- the long-awaited return of Salome after more than 20 years.
